JDi Design was subcontracted to manage the industrial design, human-factors, man-machine interface and design-for-manufacture aspects of the Universal Phantom, a hardware component of the AVID system

DR37P Professional Digital Display Unit
Sector: Commercial products
DR37P High Dynamic Range (HDR) displays l allow viewers to experience lifelike images that are both 30 times brighter and 10 times darker than a normal CRT, Plasma or LCD-based monitors. These high-end products are aimed at specialist film post-production, medical and high-end graphic imaging industries where color gamut and image contrast are key performance criteria.

JDi Design was asked to help design and engineer the third generation HDR displays and establish corporate product design identity guidelines for future Brightside products.
